This morning, I finally received my three certificate of completions that earned me the title of CCTBS, Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist. I had already been asked what I was going to do now. My answer, "I don't know, I didn't have a plan for the certification. It was for personal growth to gain a little bit more knowledge to better help the animals at the shelter for now." I am still volunteering at the animal shelter about six hours a week, enriching the dogs to the best of my ability giving them a variety of stimulation from simply play, short walks around back of the building, and working on cues. As for our own dogs, we have 3 (this includes my foster fail that I may not have mentioned happened yet) and I have been working with each of them with different things since I started working towards my certification from basic cues to more challenging cues, like "between" and "with me" and a diet change for our senior dog.
